Basic Narrative Planned Out

Primary characters: Cain (26-28 years old, Caucasian)
Establishing shot (futuristic building from afar) – the time and ‘Planet’ displayed.
Interior shot with crowd, then to a guy (Cain) leaning in the corner. He looks bored/ disillusioned. Internal dialogue, stating Cain’s opinion of events like this (silhouetted background).  A woman then interrupts him and states that this is his drink and his name tag (introducing his name). Close up of her face. “There was something about her eyes – a depth, a colour that he hadn’t seen before”. She leaves. As he is about to drink his drink a man snatches the drink and chugs it down. Cain is startled, cursing him. The man then falls to the ground clutching his chest. “They’re…after you…Mr. Cain…flee!”
Cain remembers the woman who served him the drink (flashback to the close up of her face) He briefly pans the crowd that is starting to turn to look at the commotion to find her (sees a flicker of her in the crowd). Then cuts to a service door to the roof. Cain squeezes through the door. Several images of footsteps and sounds – internal thoughts.
[POSSIBLE OPTION: HIDING SPOT]
Cain’s pursuer is fast approaching and there is a split/ fork in the road. He can choose to hide under the floor panelling or in an alcove.
Floor Panelling: It all is working until Cain suffers from a panic attack due to claustrophobia. As his vision goes dark footsteps and legs appear. The picture goes black and there is a single “BANG”.
Alcove: As the person approaches the alcove there is another sound that draws him away. Cain, once he has left continues.

Cain finally reaches the elevator:  bashing the button until it opens.  Once inside he can see a figure the distance of the doors as they close. He huffs and puffs a bit in the elevator, tired from the chase. He then is talked to from his name tag. It is then revealed that he took the order to go through the elevator and hide in the alcove from his name tag. He asks:
Can I trust you?  OPTIONS: “…the question is can I trust you?” and “You’ll see…”
As the door opens and cain steps out he is greeted by the woman who served him drinks. She has a gun on him and asks him a question.
Option a: He can’t answer
Option B: He answers the question quizzically
The gun fires.
There is now a shot where Cain looks surprised – it pans out to reveal:
A: He’s been Shot. Electricity pours out of the wound and he falls to  the floor.  Pans to the woman looking serious “Damn, looks like he was a decoy…I have to hurry”
B: Pans to a guy in the background falling to the ground. Cain looks at the body (it’s the guy who took his drink). He asks “W…what’s going on?” She replies “I don’t have time to explain at the moment…but let’s just say that we are part of a deadly game where if you don’t shut up and do what I say, we’re both going to be dead….”
To Be Continued is at the bottom of the image.

Overarching Plot:
Cain is the son of a famous Pharmaceutical company CEO, Winston Pyre. Because of his father’s wealth and influence, he often has to attend events at off world places in place of his Winston. Another undesired side effect of his father is the existence of a bounty on his head….
Arte Helios is a bounty hunter that uses everything in her arsenal to bring down her target, from weapons and acrobatics to manipulating peoples trust. She was assigned to Assassinate Winston Pyre before she was forcefully intertwined in a game whereby she would be paired with her current bounty and she must kill another assassin’s bounty while protecting her own. The last Assassin standing wins the combined bounties for all of these targets – while their bounties win their freedom.
Winston, luckily for himself, managed to use all of his influence to use his son as a substitute for his ‘place’ in this game – such is his power.
